Error - Name of SQL table is already being used by another IDO?

I am attempting to create a SQL table using the new data maintenance wizard in Infor Mongoose 9.02.00. However, I cannot proceed as it shows an incomplete data error "The name '[Sql Table Name]' is already used by an existing IDO." This should not be occurring as I have deleted an old table with the same name I used for this one and I deleted the IDO associated with the old table. In other words, if I've deleted the past records, where is the interference?
